Delhi Capitals

The side has retained its core during the retention window. Axar Patel, Lalit Yadav, and Mitchell Marsh are the regular all-rounders in the side. However, given Marsh’s fitness issues and the requirement of a pace-bowling all-rounder in the side,

Delhi Capitals might fancy roping in the former West Indian skipper. He can bat anywhere from three to seven in the lineup and can bowl his four overs regularly.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

SRH have released a big chuck of their squad during the retention window. With an aim to revamp their squad, the franchise might be interested in roping in Holder.

He played for the franchise in 2021 taking 16 wickets in 8 games and scoring 85 runs from seven innings. The season remains his best in the IPL from an all-round perspective.

Kolkata Knight Riders

In Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, KKR have just two all-rounders. Venkatesh Iyer is another option but he is used as an opener in the side.

KKR might look to buy Holder in the upcoming auction. With the other sides already having all-rounders, Kolkata might look to press for Holder who will be used as a backup to Andre Russell given that he is injury prone for the last couple of years.

Holder played for KKR in IPL 2016, scoring 22 runs with the bat and picking up just two wickets. Now with more experience in the IPL, Holder is among the most sorted-out all-rounders in world cricket.
