Young Adrian Hetmyer smashes 260 as records his second double hundred in U-15 cricket – Match Report

Adrian Hetmyer, the nephew of Guyana and West Indies batsman Shimron Hetmyer, recorded a whirlwind and undefeated 260 from 164 balls for home side Rose Hall Canje against Betsy Ground in an u15 match.

His last three innings were: 260, 168 and 277.

Hetmyer’s 277 was the highest ever in Under-15 cricket in Berbice. He slammed 41 fours and four sixes.

His majestic innings of 277 came against Tucber Park B, while his 168 a few days earlier came against Tucber Park A at Rose Hall Canje.

Hetmyer recorded twenty-four fours and nine sixes as his team recorded a massive 485-2 in their 50 overs. Hetmyer was supported by Lakeram Singh, who also scored 111 runs off 90 balls (11x4s, 2x6s), while Richard Ramdeholl scored 40.

In response, Betsy Ground was dismissed for a meagre 59 in 16 overs to hand the home side a massive 426-run victory. Renee Ishmael top-scored with 13 runs. Bowling for the home side, Ramdeholl snared 3-3, while Aarush Hemraj recorded figures of 3-7 and Gautam Dhanraj recorded 3-15.
