In recent Interview with Dubai Capitals Media unit, West Indies Cricketer Jason Holder Speak on Upcoming T20 World Cup in USA And West Indies.
A record sixth-wicket stand between Andre Russell and Sherfane Rutherford was backed by a dazzling spell of spin bowling by Roston Chase, as West Indies salvaged some pride with a 37-run win over Australia to end their three-match Twenty20 (T20) series on a high, on last Tuesday.
While Australia took the series 2-1, the consolation win and, by extension the performances of Russell and Rutherford in a 139-run stand, provides a solid platform on which West Indies at can continue to build in their charge towards the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup later this year.
When asks how important he think T20I league play a role when it is in his as important as that in terms of exposure,
“I think there’s a massive role in terms of giving players the opportunity I’ll opportunity in different surfaces different conditions to play” he said.
Jason Holder on the upcoming T20 World Cup in USA and West Indies- says when West Indies hosts a tournament you can get lot of fun.
“Obviously a party for a party there as well too and just vibrant. People love cricket, you know, Cricket is probably our main sport, and everybody loves the atmosphere around cricket, so I think you can really expect something, something special. “
“This is also a very special event, so looking forward to something very, very similar, hopefully we can, deliver something that everybody can remember for 10 years ago and now one” he added.
