The second ODI between the West Indies and England is slated to commence at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on November 2, 2024.
The first one was quite convincingly gobbled up by the hosts in what was a silky chase by them. Evin Lewis led the way with a belligerent 94.
Although he was unlucky to notch up his ton, his knock was enough for the other batters to glide across the target.
As for the visitors, all four of their top-order batters got off to starts but could not leverage anything of substantial value out of them. It was mainly courtesy Liam Livingstone and Sam Curran that they trickled over to a total of 209. Gudakesh Motie, the eventual Player of the Match, bowled sumptuously well for his four-fer.
With a brief layover between the two games, it will be intriguing on how England manage to fight their way back into the series. Whether they would want to shuffle their cards or not, would be up to their management. It is expected that the two sides go in with unchanged playing XIs.

Probable Best Batter: Evin Lewis
The swashbuckling southpaw’s re-introduction into the ODI setup after a protracted hiatus of three years and a handful of months has been one yielding fruitful returns so far. With there being enough impetus on his side after back-to-back match-winning performances in the span of five days, another authoritative outing with the bat could well and truly be expected from him.
Probable Best Bowler: Adil Rashid
With the amount of purchase which the spinners found at the same venue during the first ODI, it could be expected that the wily leg-spinner maximizes all the tricks in his repertoire in as effective a manner as possible and outfox the batters with his guile and assistance off the pitch.
Hetemeyer should bat at #3 , he is a really good batsman and put him as a finisher is wasting his talent , WI needs to recognize this so he can give us centuries
