Barbados hero Jason Holder took four wickets in successive balls during a dramatic last over as the West Indies beat England by 17 runs in the fifth and deciding Twenty20 international at the Kensington Oval on Sunday for a 3-2 series win.
After that big win West Indies side is set to Play India in February for the three-match ODI series and three-match T20 Internationals series
Cricket West Indies director of cricket Jimmy Adams foresees a tougher competitive challenge for the upcoming tour of India series in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
However, Adams remains hopeful the West Indian team can carry their winning momentum to the indian conditions and equally match up against an in form Indian team.
“It’s always difficult playing teams at home and I’m sure India will put up a massive challenge for our lads. I think however, if there was ever a time to tour India, I think this is probably it.
“Coming off a good series at home, I would like to think that almost everybody in that Windies squad is in a very good place.
“There were good performances throughout the squad and series. And I think they would be looking forward to testing themselves against another very good, high-quality T20 team,” Adams added.
