The first T20I ended in a no-result after play was not possible due to the wet outfield.

The match was reduced to 16 overs per side due to wet conditions but the match was finally called off due to multiple rain interruptions.

West Indies won the toss and opted to field first. Bangladesh batted for only 13 overs scoring 105/8.

“I think we’re getting to where we want to be. I think the aggression was there, the guys ran and hit the wicket, they made the guys display. We looked for wickets earlier on and I think did all the writing today in the field. We took all the catches that came to us. So did all the Right today.” West Indies Head Coach Phil Simmons said after the 1st T20

West Indies are placed seventh in the ICC T20I rankings and West Indies eighth.

Windsor Park is still a very new venue for international cricket. It has just hosted five Tests, four ODIs and only two T20Is.

One game each has been won batting first and chasing.

The match starts at 1.30 pm local time and rain can play a spoilsport in this game as well.

The temperature will be around 30 degrees during the day and clouds are expected to remain cloudy throughout.
