CPL 2022: St Lucia Kings announce overseas players; Du Plessis, David & Wiese Back With Saint Lucia Kings

Faf du Plessis, Tim David and David Weise are among those announced as the St Lucia Kings’ overseas signings for the 2022 Caribbean Premier League.

Faf du Plessis, who captained the Kings to a second successive Hero CPL final in 2021, will return for this season. He will be joined by Tim David and David Wiese who were both instrumental to the Kings success during the 2021 season.

Namibian David Wiese and Tim David, who finished with the third-most runs in the tournament in 2021, have also been retained.

St Lucia Kings have brought on board New Zealand’s Scott Kuggeleijn after releasing him last year.

Kings have just one overseas spot to fill, overall The Kings will have six more spots to fill at the Hero CPL draft with details of these picks released during the draft show which will be broadcast this Thursday 7 July – at 9am Eastern Caribbean Time.
