West Indies will lock horns with India in a three-match ODI series, with the first game to be played at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad, on Friday, July 22. The two teams will also play a five-match T20I series after the ODIs.
While previewing the first ODI in a video shared on his YouTube channel, Chopra highlighted that he feels India should register an easy win in the first ODI against West Indies.
“I don’t think this is going to be difficult. India to win this game, they should win easily, there should not be any competition at all.”
Chopra also said West indies Capitan Nicholas Pooran and Kyle Mayers will be amongst the runs for the Caribbean side.
He said:
“Pooran and Kyle Mayers will together score more than 70 runs. It’s an interesting one, Kyle Mayers actually has a very interesting story.”
as well as he predicted Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja take more wickets in 1st ODI.
“Chahal and Jadeja will together take four or more wickets, that is what I feel. It is a big ground in Port of Spain.”
West Indies had beaten Bangladesh in their previous T20I series 2-0. In the ODI series But West Indies faced a 0-3 loss on home soil. India recently played a T20I and ODI series against and in England and they managed to win both series 2-1.
West Indies and India last played a T20I and ODI series earlier in February this year. They lost in all three ODIs and three T20Is. Now, West Indies have a chance to avenge their defeat on home soil.
