“I Try and help others develop their game and their cricket” – Bravo Revealed his Goal as St Kitts’ Captain

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SKN) will open their CPL title defense against Jamaica Tallawahs (JAM) in the opening match of the Caribbean Premier League 2022 at Warner Park on Thursday, September 1. The match will start at 7.00 PM local time.

St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have just won the inaugural 6ixty 2022 tournament and seem in great form.

Upon closer inspection of squad depth, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots are the strongest side on paper and are likely to begin their CPL title defense with a convincing win.

Defending champions and they will have their successful captain Dwayne Bravo captaining them again this season as well.

Bravo is one of the best T20 players in history and he told reporters that his goal as captain of the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will be to mentor the younger players, including his brother Darren, to find form.

“I am very excited. Last season, I made a decision to leave TKR and challenge myself differently and in a different way to keep myself motivated for the game and to try and help others develop their game and their cricket,” Bravo told.

“I think I made the right decision at the right time and luckily enough last season we won the trophy which gave St Kitts and Nevis Patriots their first-ever CPL title.

At a media conference yesterday, Bravo said the team is excited and took many lessons from their games.

“A few days ago, (we won the first-ever 6ixty tournament) … so it’s a good foundation we’re starting to build and we’re starting to believe as a franchise and as a team that we can also be a dominant force in CPL.
