The Abu Dhabi T10 is a ten-overs-a-side tournament in the UAE. It was first held in 2017 and has since become a regular fixture on the cricketing circuit.
T10 cricket has yet to become as popular as T20, but the Abu Dhabi League has a strong following, and it’s generally accepted that this is the biggest tournament of its kind.
The Abu Dhabi T10 begins on November 23 and will be a two-week-long tournament.
It is going to be a bumper season of cricket in the UAE. The 2022 edition of the T10 tournament will take place at the Zayed Cricket Stadium and conclude on December 4. The draft for the 10 over-a-side formats held on September 26, 2022.
Therefore, West Indies star fast bowling all-rounder, Romario Shepherd, has been drafted into the New York Strikers for the Abu Dhabi T10 League Season six.
Shepherd, who turned out for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, was the 9th highest wicket-taker and a member of the Caribbean Premier League’s team of the tournament.
The 27-year-old took 10 wickets in nine matches including a 3/14 for three overs took the Warriors place in Qualifier 1.
The right-handed seamer has represented West Indies in seventeen T20Is so far and ten 50-over matches. New York Strikers have also brought in Kieron Pollard as their icon player.
The tournament is set to bowl off on November 19 and will run until December 4.
