Comilla Victorians won the toss and elected to bat first. Fortune Barishal scored 143 for 08 in 20 overs.
Munim Shariar top scored with 44 off 30 balls with four sixes. Chris Gayle was the second highest run scorer in the innings with 22 runs with four fours.
In Victorians, Shafiqul Islam took three wickets for 25 runs in three overs and Moin Ali took four wickets for 23 runs. Lytton Das and Mahamadul Hassan Joy put on a successful 62 – run partnership for the Victorians.
Joey was dismissed for 20 in the first over, after which the innings was decisive, with Shafiqul Islam dismissing Imrul Kayes for five and a well-played Dus.
Faf Du Plessis scored 21, Moeen Ali 22 and Sunil Narine 17 as the batsmen struggled in front of the Barishal bowlers. But that was not enough to lead the match to victory.
