Recently, Hardik Pandya opened up on his return to Mumbai Indians and said it was always going to be special coming back home. He said:
“The feeling of wearing this colour is very special for me. My journey started here, and coming back home was always going to be special. Lasith Malinga has been my brother from the start and Mark Boucher has been wonderful,”
He added: “We will make sure we play a brand of cricket that all is going to be proud of and at the same point of time its going to be a ride no one will forget,”
Hardik will have his task set out for him in the very first outing as he faces his former side, Gujarat Titans, in the opening match for MI in IPL 2024 on March 24 in Ahmedabad.
