Fidel Edward picked his all-time XI including 5 West Indian players, check full list HERE

Fidel Edward is a Barbadian fast bowler. He started his international cricket career in 2003. It was against the Sri Lankan team.

Edward, now 39, has named his all-time Xi. The squad consisted of five West Indies players, three Australians, one Indian, one South African and one Pakistani each.

He named West Indies’ Chris Gayle and Australia’s Matthew Hayden as his openers. Indian Little Master Sachin Tendulkar was selected for the No. 3 spot. Two West Indies players named for No 04 and 05 they are Brian Lara and Sir Garfield Sobers.

South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis named Edward for No. 6, while Australian Adam Gilchrist named captain and wicketkeeper. Edward said that Gilchrist was a devastating wicket-keeper and another best captains he had played.

The bowling squad consisted of one spinner and three fast bowlers. Accordingly, Shane Warne was the only spinner on the team. Pakistan’s Wasim Akram and West Indies’ Curtly Ambrose and Malcolm Marshall were the three fast bowlers.

Accordingly, his all-time Xi named after him is as follows,

  1. There is no room for Sir Viv Richards , then it cannot be the best that he can do . No team of the last 50 years could be close to good without King Viv . Sorry Fidel . You can sure do better .
