West Indies all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford will be a key man for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots this season says Patriots’ director of cricket Adhishwar. He also noted that Ashmead Nedd is a talented player.
Rutherford received the most unique, unusual reward for becoming the Player of the Series in the Global T20 Canada tournament.
GT20 Canada tournament concluded where Sherfane Rutherford helped his side Montreal Tigers win the final against Surrey Jaguars at the TD Cricket Arena in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, and the left-hander got half-an-acre land in the USA as his reward for being the Player of the Series.
Sherfane Rutherford was also the Man of the Match in the final for scoring 38* runs off 29 balls to lift Montreal Tigers chasing down the target of 131 runs in the final.
He bagged the Player of the Tournament award for finishing with 220 runs in the season, finishing at the second-highest score of the tournament, at an average of 44.

“I think both are extsiting cricketers Sherfane is been very good for us. He was it a integral part of our championship win in 2021. He was very important for us, the SIXTY we won last year and he continues to be a very key member in the Patriots for the season and seasons coming forward. ” He said
“I think with regards to the Patriots, every player is very clear to their roles and Surface is going to be a key member in our batting lineup. He would bark at different positions with the Patriots. I think it’s more with regards to the situation of the innings than batting numbers and I think he will play very, very key role in finishing games.” Patriots’ director of cricket Adhishwar added
