“Important to manage our players” – West indies skipper Nicholas Pooran after win over Bangladesh

The West Indies team managed to win the second T20I match against the visitors yesterday. The hosts, who batted first, scored 193 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

King and Powell scored fifties. Accordingly, Brendon King scored 57 runs and vice-captain Rowman Powell scored a quick 61 runs in 28 balls. Skipper Pooran scored 34 runs.

In the reply, Bangladesh scored only 158 runs for the loss of 06 wickets end off their 20 overs.

Shakib Al Hasan scored an unbeaten 68 and Afif Hossain scored 34 runs. In bowling, Shepherd and McCoy took two wickets each and Hossain took one wicket.

After winning by 35 runs against Bangladesh, West Indies captain Nicholas Pooran shared his thoughts about the match in the post-match presentation.

The first match was abandoned due to rain and after winning the second match, the hosts managed to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match Twenty20 series.
