Obed McCoy Just bowled West Indies’ most expensive T20I Spell

Rishabh Pant played a brisk knock of 44 off 31 balls as India went on to post a total of 191 for five against West Indies.

After West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first, Rohit and Suryakumar gave India a quick-fire start. The duo put up a partnership of 53 in just 28 balls.

Rohit was the one who led the way with a rapid knock of 33 in just 16 balls and was given able support from his Mumbai Indians (MI) teammate.

After a match-winning knock of 77 in the third T20I, the right-handed batter played an impressive cameo in which he made 24 runs in just 14 balls

Rohit (33 off 16 balls) and Pant (44 off 31 balls) were the main contributors while Axar Patel struck some meaty blows towards the end to finish unbeaten on 20 off 8 balls.

Sanju Samson was more subdued during his 30 not out off 23 balls, often failing to find the boundaries, which prevented India from reaching 200.

For West Indies left-arm pacer Obed McCoy, cricket indeed turned out to be a great leveller as he was smoked for 66 runs off his 4 overs only a week after he had taken a career-best six-wicket haul in the second ODI. It was the most expensive spell by a West Indies bowler in T20Is.

McCoy went for three sixes and 25 runs in an over.
