Sachin Tendulkar picked his all-time XI including Two West Indian players – Check full list HERE

Former Legendary Indian Captain Sachin Tendulkar is one of the greatest batsmen to ever play in cricket. Tendulkar has scored 15,921 runs in ODIs and 18,426 runs in Tests during his international career.

Including all the formats, Sachin has a total of 100 international centuries and 201 wickets to his name.

He named his all-time xi, but surprisingly, did not include any of the modern players on the team he named, as he missed out on the names of some of the world’s greatest.

Among them are Muttiah Muralitharan one of the greatest spinners in the world, Indian run machine Virat Kohli, India’s Two time ICC World cup ( ODI/T20) winning Captain MS Dhoni and Sri Lanka’s Greatest Batman Kumar Sangakkara.

Four Indian players, three Australian players, two West Indies players and one Pakistani and one South African player were selected for his all-time Xi

Accordingly, Tendulkar chose Virender Sehwag and Sunil Gavaskar as his opening pair. Also, two West Indies greats, Brian Lara and Viv Richard were selected for their No. 3 and 4.

Former South African all-rounder Jacque Kallis, former India captain Saurav Ganguly and former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist have been named in his squad to play in the middle order.

To strengthen his bowling line-up, Tendulkar selected two world-renowned spinners and two fast bowlers. They are Australian, Pakistani and Indian players.

Accordingly, his selected spinners were former Australian spinner Shane Warne and former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh. He also used former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram and former Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath to strengthen his fast-bowling line-up.
