However, it turned out that Buttler also got dismissed after getting a start. This saw Sherfane Rutherford walk out into middle with the target of increasing the scoring rate of the team. The West Indian played a decent knock in the first game against PBKS, even though it was not enough to take them through in the match.
Against the Mumbai Indians, Rutherford struck Trent Boult for a maximum in the 18th over. The shot was an example of the power and strength the man has. Even the GT skipper, Shubman Gill was awestruck by the display from the West Indian batter.
