India and West Indies are set to clash with each other in the 3rd T20I. WI vs IND 3rd T20I takes place on August 2 (Tuesday) at Warner Park Stadium in St Kitts.
McCoy, a left-arm seamer, produced the best West Indies bowling figures in a T20 to help bowl out India for 138 in 19.4 overs on Monday.
In chasing, Brandon King, crushed the first ball of the chase to the deep point boundary off Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
King’s partner, Kyle Mayers, went for 8 in an opening stand of 46, and captain Nicholas Pooran for 14, but after 10 overs West Indies were 2-73 and cruising.
King kept going until the 16th over when he was bowled by seamer Avesh Khan. King scored a career-best 68 from 52 balls, including eight fours and two sixes.
The finish came quickly when Devon Thomas (31 not out from 19 balls), West Indies’ other change from the first T20, hit a six and four to give them a five-wicket win.
after come back in maroon colors Shimron Hetmyer scored only 6 Runs in the 2nd T20.
Following a nervy five-wicket win 2nd T20I, the West Indies skipper admitted that the batters should play more responsibly.
However, the rest of the batting unit fell after taking time to settle at the crease.
Speaking about the batters’ performance in the second T20I, the captain said:
“A win is a win. I believe in T20, better batsmen have to bat long. Myself, Hetmyer can take more responsibility. King should have won the game for us with the way he was batting. But hopefully he will learn from this. Thomas returned back for us after injury and came out trumps on his home ground.”
