AUS vs WI 1st T20I: Kyle Mayers’ Incredible 105-meter six goes viral, watch video

Windies batter Kyle Mayers grabbed eyeballs with a scintillating six during Australia vs West Indies, 1st T20I in Carrara Oval, Queensland.

The southpaw produced a glorious hit on Wednesday hitting a mammoth 104-meter six off Cameron Green.

Bowling the fourth over of the West Indian innings, Green pitched it slightly short on the off but that was enough for Mayers to shift on the backfoot and punch it over the cover region.

Such was the power that the ball flew into the second tier of the stands.

West Indies raced to 53/2 by the end of six overs after being put in to bat, with Hazlewood dismissing Johnson Charles and Brandon King with the new ball.

The scoring slowed down considerably thereafter, with just 15 runs coming in the next four overs, including the wicket of Mayers who was cleaned up by Pat Cummins. Mayers struck five fours and a six in his 36-ball 39.
