Legends League Cricket will return in 2023 to compete in Qatar and Oman from February 27 to March 8. The tournament is called the LLC Masters and features three teams in the first season.
The upcoming season is a repeat of the first season among other cricketing nations, with former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia and England divided into three teams.
Also, West Indies’ destructive batsman Chris Gayle and many others are scheduled to participate in the LLC Masters in Qatar.
The three teams could be India Maharajas, Asia Lions and World Giants, with 60 top icons from India, Asia and the rest of the world including Chris Gayle, Eoin Morgan, Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, Shane Watson, Pathan and others.
The recently concluded Season 2 of Legends League Cricket featured four franchise-owning teams of 85 popular players and was held in India, the upcoming season is a reboot of the first season which featured former cricketers from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Legends League has become one of the most popular cricket events in a short span of time. According to sources, the inaugural season of the league reached around 703 million people worldwide.
Even the second season, which pitted four franchises against each other across multiple stadiums in India, was a huge success.
Cricket fans are excited about the announcement of a new competition called ‘LLC Masters’ later this year. Outside India, the tournament is gaining traction, with some fans believing it will follow a similar format to the inaugural edition of the LLC, where teams from India, Asia and the rest of the world competed against each other.
