CPL 2022, Saint Lucia Kings vs Trinbago Knight Riders: Match Preview, Probable Playing XI

Saint Lucia Kings will take on Trinbago Knight Riders in match 2 of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2022. The fixture will be played at Warner Park in St Kitts from 10:00 AM local time. Both the teams have been solid players and it will be a marquee match.

The runners-up of the last season, SLK will look to go one step further this season.

SLK have the likes of Johnson Charles, David Wiese, Alzarri Joseph, Kesrick Williams and Roston Chase among others.

On the other hand, Trinbago Knight Riders will be looking to start their season on a winning note with this game.

Apart from Pollard, TKR’s roster includes the likes of Colin Munro, Tim Seifert, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and many others.

Pooran, who is now the white-ball captain of West Indies, will be playing under Pollard. Pollard captained Poooran from 2019 to 2022 before quitting international cricket.

TKR topped the points table last year with 6 wins. SLK managed 5 wins from 10 matches in CPL 2021.

After the first fixture of the day as St Kitts and Nevis Patriots will take on Barbados Royals in the 2nd game of the day at the same venue from 7.00 PM local time.

Patriots were part of the opening game as well and lost to Jamaica Tallawahs by 47 runs.
