‘I know what to do with you next time we meet !!’: Sanju Samson mocks Shimron Hetmyer in his latest Instagram post

Shimron Hetmyer who was controversially dropped for the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup didn’t name the west indies limited over squad against the upcoming South Africa Series.

while Indian wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson, who returned to training after a full recovery from the knee injury he suffered during the first T20I against Sri Lanka, is enjoying some downtime not being with the national side.

A couple of days after he declared himself fit, Samson posted a picture of himself with his Harley Davidson motorcycle seemingly going for a ride. The picture was without any caption but the responses to it have gone viral.

West Indies batter and Samson’s Rajasthan Royals teammate, Shimron Hetmyer took a dig at Samson saying that the wicket-keeper batter didn’t look too bad in that avatar but hoped that he knew what to do with the vehicle.

“Not a bad look for u @imsanjusamson… hopefully you know what to do with that machine,” Hetmyer commented.

Samson, however, was ready to give it back to Hetmyer as he responded back saying, “@shetmyer hahaha Hettie…yeah and I what to do with you next time we meet !!”

Samson was recovering at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and because of injury, he was ruled out of the New Zealand series. Samson put out a video last week of him running and going through fitness drills and it seems like, he now finally has recovered fully.

Samson isn’t part of the Indian team in the longer formats, hence the fans will be able to catch him in action in the IPL directly in less than two months from now.

Samson will reunite with Hetmyer for the Royals. Hetmyer, whose indiscipline cost him a place in West Indies’ T20 World Cup squad, has been plying his trade in various T20 leagues.

After playing for Morrisville Samp Army in the T10 League, Hetmyer is currently taking part in the ongoing International League T20 for James Vince-led Gulf Giants.

Hetmyer has got a couple of good scores in the recent few innings and will hope to take it forward in the IPL as well.
