India vs West Indies 2022: Match Details , Probable Playing XIs 2nd ODI at Ahmedabad

West Indies will face India in the 2nd ODI of the three-match series on 9th February, Wednesday. India currently leads the series 1-0 after victory in the 1st ODI.

India defeated West Indies by six wickets in the first ODI on Sunday. Chasing a target of 177 runs, India reached 178 for four in 28 overs.

Opener Rohit Sharma Scored 60 runs off 51 deliveries. Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Hooda set up an unbeaten partnership to win the match for India. Initially, a four-wicket haul by Yuzvendra Chahal helped India bowl out West Indies for 176 in 43.5 overs.

West Indies will be a very disappointed side after having gone down without any fight whatsoever in the first ODI.

After being invited to bat first, Windies line-up crumbled for a below-par 176 in 43.5 overs.

West Indies kept losing wickets in the middle overs and were reeling at 79/7 at one stage.

However, smart batting by Jason Holder and Fabien Allen helped Windies reach a respectable total.

Holder was dismissed on 57(71), Fabien Allen scored 29(43)

They are at the back of a series loss to Ireland in their home and they are in grave danger of missing out on direct qualification for the 2023 world cup in India.

Romario Shepherd will most likely play in the 2nd ODI in place of Kemar Roach, Odean Smith might get a look in in place of Darren Bravo as he strengthens their bowling attack. but they are At least Chance to make a change due to a one-off match.

Jason Holder is expected to bat higher up the order in this game after an impressive outing in 1st ODI. Akeal Hosein could be the game changer for West Indies.
