Jason Holder reveals his dream hat-trick and he picks three Indian top-order batsmen

Every bowler’s dream is to wreak havoc on the top-order batsmen and ruffle their feathers. On top of that, bagging a hat trick isn’t for everyone. Only a few bowlers have managed to achieve a hat-trick by bowling three wickets in a row.

Meanwhile, West Indies senior all-rounder Jason Holder revealed his dream hat-trick and was named the three best batsmen of the current Indian teams.

Earlier this year, Jason Holder became the first West Indies player to take four wickets in four balls in a T20 international to help West Indies secure a 17-run win in the final (5th) T20I against England in Barbados.

The all-rounder then dismissed Chris Jordan in the second delivery, who was caught near the fencedeep mid-wicket. Following his dismissal, Holder went to remove Sam Billings, Adil Rashid and Saqib Mahmood in three consecutive deliveries.

However, only two West Indies bowlers have managed to take a hat-trick in ODIs so far. Jerome Taylor took the first hat trick against Australia in 2006 and Kemar Roach took the second hat trick against the Netherlands in 2011.

Holder revealed his dream trio and most interestingly, he picked all three from India. Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, he revealed that his dream trio would be Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul. He said,

“My dream Hat-trick will be Kohli, Rohit & Rahul.”

He said this while joining the program called 25 Questions on the ESPNcricinfo YouTube channel and he answered some other questions. Here’s the video,
