The Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25 draft concluded in Melbourne on Sunday (September 1), where teams finalized their squads for the upcoming season. In a highly anticipated event, the Big Bash League (BBL) Draft for the upcoming season saw a star-studded lineup of overseas players being selected by the eight franchises.
Eight franchises, including the Adelaide Strikers, Brisbane Heat, Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder, participated in the draft to bolster their rosters.
Regarding players from West indies, a total of 47 players had enrolled for the auction in both the Men’s BBL drafts, however, only a Four player was picked.

Among the many Caribbean star players who had nominated their names for the BBL 2024/25 draft, only Shai Hope ( Platinum), Fabian Allen ( Silver), Sherfane Rutherford (Silver) were picked, by the Hobart Hurricanes, Adelaide Strikers, Sydney Thunder.
