Representing his country in both cricket and football is a unique talent. There are very few players who have been able to do that.
One of the players who showed that talent was West Indies superstar Sir Viv Richards. He represented his country in both football and cricket events and played in the World Cup.
Sir Viv Richards won the Cricket World Cup twice, representing the West Indies in 1975 and 1979. He also represented Antigua and Barbuda in the 1974 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Sir Richards, who is currently coaching the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League, has released an image of himself playing football on Twitter, inviting the Liverpool team.
“Hey there @LFC wondering if you guys have a spot for another deadly striker alongside Mane MoSalah and Mane?” He asked the Liverpool team.
Widely regarded as one of the most aggressive players, Richards revolutionized the sport with his batting and boasted Test and ODI averages of 50.23 and 47 respectively.
He recently tweeted that he would love to play for the Liverpool team if given the chance.

Talking about Liverpool, the English club currently has a host of attacking options heading towards the business end of the season. Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah found the net in their Champions League tie against Inter Milan, earning Liverpool a 2-0 win at the San Siro.
Jurgen Klopp’s men have won all seven of their Champions League matches this season, extending what is their longest ever winning run in Europe’s elite club competition.
