PSL 2022: The Pakistan Super League is all set to begin from January. And the event is going to take in Pakistan for the time being.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has gone on to confirm it with its recent statement. They went on to state that the new edition of the PSL will be held in Pakistan from January end. It will be an interesting season.
However, the six-team affair will first go through a strict draft in the upcoming weeks. Various teams were given a deadline by the PCB and all the teams have gone on to release their list of retained players ahead of the draft.
Moreover, the draft will also provide a valuable opportunity for various teams who have gone on to lag. Teams like Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators have been performing badly for a couple of seasons in the PSL tournament.
But the mega draft will hold a massive opportunity for the above teams. It is because all the teams will be given a chance to start from scratch. And the teams which have failed will get a chance to recreate their PSL teams.
Moreover, various new talents are rising in Pakistan as well. Many PSL teams will be eager to buy non capped players since they will come cheap. Moreover, teams will also look at a variety of youngsters in the draft.
PSL 2022: Hasan Ali misbehaves with senior sports journalist
Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali went on to do something that has hurt his PR in recent times. Hasan Ali went on to misbehave with a senior Pakistani journalist who had gone on to ask him a simple question.
But instead of answering the question, Hasan refused to even speak to the journalist. The Pakistan international was heavily criticised when the men in green went out of the T20 World Cup. And the journalist was one of them who went on to criticise Hasan Ali on Twitter which did not go well.
