RSWS 2022, Probable Playing XI; West Indies Legends to Take on Sri Lanka Legends in 2nd Semi-Final (28th Sept)

West Indies Legends will take on Sri Lanka Legends in the Second semifinal of the Road Safety World Series T20 tournament at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur here on Wednesday.

The Brian Lara-led West Indies Legends have been a tad unlucky this season as three of their 2 games ended in no result due to incessant rain.

However, the two matches which the Men in maroon won were one-sided and the team will take confidence from the superlative performances against Bangladesh Legends and England Legends. but They have been defeated by Australian legends.

However, Captain Brian Lara turned the clock back with his knock in Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore against England. Dwayne Smith, Kirk Edwards and William Perkins also exploded with the bat when they got the opportunity to express themselves.

West Indies Legends’ bowling department has also done well in the three innings and would be looking to produce another clinical show against Thilakarathne Dilshan & Co.

The pace battery and the spin department did reasonably well in the three matches they’ve played.

Sri Lanka has been a team to beat in this edition with its comprehensive performances in all three of its matches.

The team is unbeaten so far and sits comfortably in the second position in the points table.

Against Bangladesh, the Lankan Lions would be looking to put up another well-rounded show and give themselves match practice ahead of the semi-finals.
