Shamar Joseph gets ILT20 contract as 17 West Indies cricketers picked for International League T20 2024

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) based International League T20 (ILT20) added a huge feather in their cap as they became the first Associate-run franchise league to acquire an official List A status. This achievement comes ahead of their second season next year.

The second season of the International League T20 is set to kick off on January 13 next year.

West Indies players are indispensable for T20 Leagues as well Several West Indies players have Joined UAE-based franchises T20 competition.

West Indies fast bowler Shamar Joseph has been picked by Dubai Capitals for the upcoming ILT20 league in UAE. franchise announced that earlier on Friday, will be making only his first appearance in an overseas T20 league.

Joseph was selected for the West Indies Test team to play from January 16 to January 29. If he is not in the white-ball squads for the West Indies, he may head to Dubai.
