Shimron Hetmyer To Be Dropped? West Indies’ Probable XI For 4th T20I vs England

England have taken an unassailable lead of 3-0 in the five-match T20I series and they would be looking to get another win under their belt against a Windies unit that has not fired in unison in this series.

England have batted second in all the games and have successfully chased the target and it would be interesting to see how things unfold in this game.

The Rovman Powell-led West Indies do have plenty of superstars in their line-up, but somehow they have clicked in this series. Their batting let them down in the last two T20Is and after making three changes in the playing XI in the last game, let’s find out what can be their combination for this fourth encounter.

Evin Lewis Likely To Be Dropped

In the last match, Shai Hope opened the innings alongside Evin Lewis and he is likely to get another go. However, Brandon King could make his way back into the XI in place of Evin Lewis who has not performed in the three matches so far.

In the middle order, Shimron Hetmyer was included in place of Rutherford in the last match and though he failed, he is likely to get a longer rope.

Hetmyer along with Pooran and Rovman Powell would have to shoulder more responsibility and come up with a better batting effort.

Roston Chase and Romario Shepherd provide balance with their all-round skills while on the bowling front, Obed McCoy could get a game in place of Terrance Hinds.

McCoy replaced injured Matthew Forde in the squad and can be handy with his clever variations. Akeal Hosein and Gudakesh Motie would be the two spinners in the squad while Alzarri Joseph will lead the pace attack.

Overall, West Indies do have quality in their ranks and it is all about delivering on the field and showing more character in the penultimate game of the series.
