Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) spinner Sunil Narine became the 9th bowler in Indian Premier League (IPL) history to take 150 wickets when he picked the scalps of Lalit Yadav against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 41st match of the IPL 2022.
Narine is one of the most valuable players in the Kolkata Knight Riders team and Sunil Narine has earned more than 700 million Indian rupees through the IPL. Also Mystery spinner Narine has made several records in IPL, let’s take a look at his some of records.
Born on May 26, 1988, Sunil Narine made his ODI debut on December 5, 2011 against India. Then on March 27, 2012 he was played his first Twenty20 match and Played the first Test on June 7 of that year.
Windies Mystery spinner, who join the IPL in 2012, has been a consistent contributor to the Kolkata team so far. Narine is known as the flagship trump a card of the Knight Riders.
He was also used by the Kolkata team as a opening batsman. He gave a great start and put a lot of pressure on the opposition team.

With a remodeled action, Narine is still one of the toughest spinners to face in IPL 2022 and the West Indies star had said he wants to represent KKR in the future as well and finish his career at the popular franchise.
“Yeah I have always told Venky Mysore that hopefully, I don’t play for any other franchise, I have loved my stay at KKR so hopefully I start and finish her,” Narine told KKR.
“I think it’s a great achievement. You don’t see many overseas players stay with one franchise. Luckily, I am one of them and hopefully, I can continue to be with them in the future.”
Sunil Narine becomes the 9th bowler overall to get to the 150-wicket landmark. He is also the 6th spinner to pick up at least 150 wickets in the IPL.
