Fabian Allen and Raymon Reifer fired stars as Jamaica Tallawahs to a 55-run win over St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the Men’s 6IXTY on Thursday at Warner Park in St. Kitts.
Tallawahs Scored 139 from 9.5 overs, the highest total of the 6IXTY this year so far. and they dismissed Chris Gayle’s Patriots for 84 in 7.2 overs.
When Rovman Powell was dismissed for 32 off 13 balls, Tallawahs were 42-3 in 3.3 overs with openers Amir Jangoo (5) and Kennar Lewis (3) dismissed as First Wickets.
Allen and Reifer then joined forced and pulverized the Patriots bowling, adding 80 in just 4.5 overs of riveting batting.
Fabian Allen, who left the West Indies team for Personal reasons struck five sixes and two fours in 45 off 18 balls, and Reifer hit four sixes and a four in an unbeaten 38 off 19.
For Patriots spinner Jon-Ross Jaggesar 1-13 off his two overs.
In Reply, Patriots lost wickets at regular intervals.
South African under-19 Dewald Brevis hit five sixes in his 34 off 11, as Evin Lewis made 15 off 7 with two fours and one six and Chris Gayle who returned to cricket long break fell for 9 off 7.
Bowling for Tallawahs, Jamie Merchant (2-8), Migael Pretorius (2-9) Nicholson Gordon (2-16) were the wicket-takers.
