“I think obviously, his shot making ability is something that is very eye catchy as a batter. I don’t know him personally very well, but

He looks like somebody who is a very emotional person, somebody who gets very pumped up And at times in captaincy, it is very helpful at times not. So it’s going to be very interesting to see how he takes West Indies cricket forward ” he said

Skipper Nicholas Pooran is an important player for the new look West Indies side. His experience and class will certainly help West Indies to flourish against Up coming T20 World cup.

Karthik added that he has only five months left for the next T20 World Cup in Australia and it is important to have a vision with the coach to find a way to clearly understand the problems of the team he belongs to and find a way to solve them.

“As I said, when you take it up, so far he’s been doing captaincy He’s done a few games, and that’s only come because Pollard wasn’t available during those series or those specific matches.

But now he’s a full time white ball captain. It’s going to be important that he has a vision along with the coach and investing is there are a lot of issues that did happen.

He’s got to find a way to obviously understand those issues and figure out a way to sort them out and then move forward with the current team that he’s got.”  karthik added

The three-match series against the Netherlands runs from May 31 to June 4 in Amstelveen while the three-match tour of Pakistan will be played from June 8-12 in Rawalpindi.

  1. Playing the Netherlands is an absolute excellent trigger for Pooran as young captain, it will give him the opportunity to put some captain qualities in place.
The Netherlands never won against the West Indies which would be the psychological edge the WI start the game with.
Pooran and his men should capitalise with the edge they have.
    Best Wishes.
