KKR all-rounder and West Indies explosive Andre Russell is enjoying the holiday. Returning home from the IPL, Russell has gifted himself a brand new car.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) may not have qualified for the playoffs in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
But Russell, who was retained by KKR ahead of the mega auction for INR 12 crore had a fabulous year with both bat and ball.
Russell amassed 335 runs with his bat striking at 174.5 while also taking 17 wickets with the ball.
Russell, who last played for the West Indies in the T20 World Cup 2021 hasn’t been part of the national side for a few months and even though he is most likely to play in the tournament later this year in Australia, the all-rounder isn’t part of the side’s ODI tours.
With the likes of Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard retiring, Russell will have to play a key role if West Indies are to reach the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022.
Now following the IPL, Russell has gifted himself a brand new car. Russell shared a video on social media while he is entering his Mercedes-Benz AMG GT R car.
Russell shared the video on social media. Russell also shared an emotional post about the new car. saying, “As a ghetto yute I always dream big! But with hard work an sacrifices dreams become reality. god is good”

The car which costs over $250000 is one of the most stylish vehicles and Russell’s teammates Chris Gayle, Daren Sammy along with Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav congratulated the all-rounder for getting his hands on this car.
