WI-A vs BN-A, Match Highlights: Tagenarine chanderpaul scores majestic hundred As West Indies A Draw Bangladesh A in Second Four-Day Test

After winning the toss at the Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, West Indies A invited the visitors to bat first and they scored 300 runs for 9 wickets in their first innings.

On the first day of the match, only 34 overs were played on the first day due to disruption by rain.  There the visitors scored 69 runs with the loss of one wicket and Shadman Islam scored 22 runs not out and Saif Hassan scored 23 runs not out.

Left-handed batsman Tagenerin Chandrapaul managed to end the match with a draw by scoring a century on the last day of the four-day Test match against Bangladesh A team.

At the start of the crucial fourth day, West Indies A were 43 for the loss of 2 wickets. Joshua da Silva was dismissed as the first wicket of the day, ending the half-century partnership with Chandrapaul. In addition, Tevin Imlach scored 21 runs and Alik Athanase scored 82 runs.

In bowling, Nayeem Hassan bowled for Bangladesh A for a long time and he took 3 wickets in 42.1 overs while Chowdhury took 2 wickets.

In West Indies A, the anchor Tagenerin Chandrapaul retired on 109 off 337 balls with 9 fours. He formed three crucial partnerships with skipper de Silva, Imlach and Alik Athanase.

First, he built a 50-run stand with Silva in the third wicket partnership and added another 56 runs with Tevin Imlach on the fourth wicket. The decisive and key connection was the 120-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Athanase, facing 121 balls in three hours with 7 fours.

Accordingly, at the end of the fourth day at the Darren Sammy Stadium, the West Indies team scored 277 runs for the loss of 5 wickets and the match ended in a draw.
