West Indies will face Scotland in the third match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 on Monday, October 17. The Bellerive Oval in Hobart will host this exciting encounter of Group B.
The Windies will be without Chris Gayle for the first time in T20 World Cups. The side will also be without Kieron Pollard, Andre Russell, Sunil Narine and Dwayne Bravo.
Nicholas Pooran will lead the side. The Windies have played a lot of cricket in the buildup to the World Cup and are ready for the tournament.
During the qualifier round of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022, a total of 12 matches will take place.
Group A teams will play one match with the other teams in the group.
Similarly, Group B teams will play one each against the other teams of the group.
After the end of the qualifier round, the top two teams in Group A and Group B points table will qualify for the super 12 round.
Two teams will join Group 1 of the super 12 round while the 2 others will join Group 2.
West Indies are unbeaten in T20Is against Scotland and the streak is expected to continue unless something dramatic happens in the game.
